Originally known as Lane Guest Ranch, this special corner of ALlenspark has welcomed generations of travelers drawn to the mountains, fresh air and time together.
We’re thoughtfully restoring and reimagining the ranch as Starfall & Pine, a mountain retreat where comfort meets adventure and every moment is worth remembering.
THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE PINE
We’re Misti and Troy. We’ve been together for 26 years, we’re raising two teenagers, and we’ve built our life around faith, family, and the belief that sometimes the biggest leaps lead to the best adventures.
We love to travel, take on projects, and create places that bring people together. Along the way, we’ve learned that the best trips aren’t remembered for the room, they’re remembered for the experiences: an unexpected adventure, a fire you lingered around, or a place you can’t stop talking about years later.
Then we found Lane Guest Ranch.
We saw the history, the challenges, and what it could become. A place for adventure and stillness, fireside nights, mountain mornings, and experiences worth remembering.
Somewhere between “This might be crazy” and “What if we actually did this?”, Starfall & Pine began.
This might just be our biggest adventure yet.
WE FOUND SOMETHING SPECIAL
An old guest ranch, quiet for years, with nearly 75 years of stories tucked beneath the pines. We saw the work ahead but we also saw something worth bringing back to life.

There were plenty of reasons to walk away. Instead, we started imagining what this place could become while preserving what made people fall in love with it in the first place.
